We now have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Tax to join our Finance team based in Melbourne.

About the opportunity

The Manager, Tax is responsible the management and oversight of ISPT’s tax and ensuring its taxation requirements are complied with, whilst ensuring the Funds’ investments are structured so to ensure the best taxation outcome possible.

As the go-to person on all tax related matters, you will be abreast of all relevant legislation and industry trends and relish the opportunity to provide thought leadership internally.

Other tasks will include:

·       Assist in structuring new business opportunities for the ISPT Group    

·       Identify enhancements to existing corporate structure to increase efficiencies and maximise business outcomes

·       Communication of results to business leaders with insights on recommended focus areas and opportunities

·       Regular engagement with specialist teams to provide modelling and analytical support for opportunities and transactions


About you

As the internal tax leader, you will possess extensive experience gained in an advisory or corporate environment, with exposure to transactions ideally within the Property industry.

Your collaborative nature will allow you to work cross functionally and assist in in identifying and solving business problems.

·       Previous experience in the delivery of operational tax requirements

·       A strong working knowledge of taxation related matters

·       Curious and inquisitive mindset to understand the business and industry
