We now have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Business Partner to join our Finance team on a 12 month contract.

About the opportunity

The Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for the implementation of the modern slavery workplan, as part of the ISPT modern slavery working group. Working closely with the Senior Procurement Manager, the role will also support the delivery of the procurement strategy, including the execution of the sourcing plan and the roll out of the supplier management framework across ISPT.

 

They will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and establish processes, systems and controls to ensure effective supplier management, and in particular, effective modern slavery risk management.

Other tasks will include:

·       Implement initiatives as per the modern slavery three-year workplan

·       Engage with stakeholders to execute procurement initiatives, monitor progress and, assess required changes

·       Monitor suppliers’ compliance against the ISPT Supplier Code of Conduct


About you

 

As this role will play a key part in ensuring our Modern Slavery workplan is delivered, it is key that you have a strong understanding of the Modern Slavery Act and experience in developing and implanting a plan for compliance with the Act.

A passion for sustainable procurement practices will hold you in good stead, as you will be working closely with our ESG and Risk teams.

·       Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier management, contract management and demand management.

·       Demonstrated understanding of supply chain practices

·       Experience in applying problem solving strategies and analysing data.

·       Prior experience leading complex improvement projects involving diverse stakeholders.
