Minderoo Foundation is a modern philanthropic organisation. We take on tough, persistent issues with the potential to drive massive change. We incubate ideas and accelerate impact. We push the limits of what is believed possible. Minderoo Foundation is independent, forward thinking and seeks effective, scalable solutions. We are proudly Australian, and one of Asia’s largest philanthropies, with AUD $2 billion committed to a range of global initiatives. Our team comprises over 100 employees across seven locations.

Fire and Flood Resilience Initiative

Climate induced extreme weather events like fires and floods are going to become more frequent. We need to find new ways to adapt, so that these never become disasters and lead to the loss of life and damage to the environment that we saw from the Black Summer bushfires.

Our goal is to reduce the harm caused by fires and floods, and lift national resilience by collaborating with the philanthropy, corporate, government, research and community sectors to enable Australia to be a global leader in disaster resilience by 2025.
