About the role

Minderoo Foundation is seeking a highly motivated risk and change analyst to drive our new framework across the organisation, fostering a risk culture aligned to our risk appetite as well as embedding and supporting new processes, frameworks, tools and reporting cadences across our portfolio of Initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with leaders and employees to ensure they are suitably equipped and empowered to cope with the growing complexity of risk across the organisation
  • Provide training to teams and key supporting risk roles on the risk management framework and approach
  • Drive visibility of the risks and the effectiveness of how it is being managed at management and Board levels
  • Support teams to manage risk in alignment with the risk management framework, including facilitating risk assessments and evaluations on existing and new projects / activities undertaken by the Foundation
  • Support the leaders and teams to routinely review their risk registers (operational and strategic) and risk profile
  • Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of the risk management framework, risk appetite statement, policy statements, processes, tools and templates, ensuring alignment with best practice and organisational strategy.

About you

You will have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role, working in a complex and agile organisation. You will have Graduate level qualifications in business, commerce or similar. Professional qualifications and membership desirable.

Practical knowledge of compliance, governance, and policy-making approaches along with knowledge of project and change and risk management methodology and techniques.
