About the role       

As the IT Project Manager you are responsible for planning, overseeing and leading business technology projects from ideation through to completion. The position requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, often managing several projects simultaneously. This role will require you to travel between metropolitan offices. Travel outside the metropolitan area will be required dependent on Project allocation. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the full project life cycle and delivering digital solutions for the various companies within the Harvest Road group.
  • Working with business customers to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements.
  • Defining and managing project scope, and the development of project management plans, ensuring the project is delivered on time and on budget, whilst adhering to quality standards and resourcing plans, including key dependencies.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships, across multiple disciplines, teams and vendors.
  • Utilising and assisting to develop existing IT PMO processes and methods.
  • Promoting architectural consistency and usability standards; define and execute test cases.
  • Ensuring appropriate change management processes are followed.
  • Contract and vendor management

About you

To be successful in this role you will have 7 or more years of progressively responsible IT experience, managing complex and risky projects successfully. You will have a solid track record of practical application of project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project and Open Workbench).

You will have a distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills, because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact. Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined program management approaches (for example, PMI, Prince II or agile) is crucial.

Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project and Open Workbench), with a solid track record of practical application.

Above all you will be a professional, commercial, and pragmatic person with solid communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
