About the Role

As the Regional Brand Advocate for NSW, ACT & NT, you will be responsible for building brand awareness, advocacy and ultimately sales by developing relationships with store managers, accessories co-ordinators and sales staff. Using your expertise and initiative, you will promote the Sennheiser name and product range, ensuring sales staff are suitably trained and similarly passionate as yourself.  You will work directly with the senior sales team and act as the face of Sennheiser on a day to day basis. Imperatively, you will drive communication between stores and internal sales staff to create a seamless experience for the client.

 

In this busy field-based role, your duties and accountabilities will be extensive and include:

  • Working with a number of internal departments including sales, channel management, product and warehousing.
  • Building and maintaining effective business relationships across designated accounts to increase sales revenue and market share.
  • Providing expert knowledge on products.
  • Ensuring all relevant product and promotional information is known by dealer staff, conducting training where required and following up to create consistency across the brand.
  • Developing a full understanding of the territory and where our brands are in the market.
  • Working with Field Sales Managers to identify which dealers require support and what support will be delivered.
  • Working with the broader business to ensure customers are provided with the expected Premium Sennheiser service.
  • Extensive area travel as business requirements dictate, including monthly drive to ACT and annual visit to NT.

 

About you

You will have proven and demonstrably successful sales experience within a retail environment. This will preferably be within a strong Consumer Electronics stream, however general retail experience and a passionate, technical understanding of Sennheiser products will be considered. Your ability to engage with dealers, understand & deliver training requirements, communicate daily with internal staff and manage time effectively will underpin your success. You will of course be confident and approachable with a positive outlook on life and possess a true love for high quality audio technology.

 

Although this is a field role that requires extensive travel, you will very much be considered part of the regional and national team and the ability to collaborate on a daily basis with internal staff to deliver exceptional results is essential. You will be expected to act autonomously when meeting dealers and will be confident making decisions that you are held accountable for.
