Office Manager and Executive Assistant

The organisation is a genuine pioneer in renewable energy, with ambitions to develop the southern hemisphere’s first offshore wind farm in Victoria. As a fast-growth local venture with global partners, there is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, organised and entrepreneurial person to join the team as the Office Manager and EA to the Directors.


The role provides Executive Assistant support to the CEO, COO and Chairman and will be the Office Manager, working to establish the new company offices in Melbourne during their initial growth phase.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Taking charge and project managing the office establishment
  • Working closely with, and supporting, the CEO, COO and Chairman in an EA capacity
  • Event planning and management, including liaison with VIP’s and their representatives
  • Support the preparation of company presentations, communications and other general correspondence
  • Provide support to the re-branding project and develop new collateral and templates in conjunction with the Directors and branding agency
  • Procurement and deployment of all office equipment, technology, stock & stationary procurement
  • Responsible for any travel arrangements for the executive team as well as any overseas visitors
  • Maintain all office related documentation and filing
  • General office / administrative tasks as required by the Directors and the broader team


About You:

The leadership team is looking for an experienced EA / Office Manager who has previously worked in a startup or early stage venture before. It is imperative that you possess very strong communication skills, both verbal and written, supported by your exemplary attention to detail. Your personality is engaging and you are comfortable dealing with senior executives and VIP’s. You relish working in a close knit team environment and enjoy building very close working relationships with colleagues.


You are not phased by changing and dynamic working environments and are able to react and re-prioritise your tasks and activities based on business or executive needs. You have exceptional organisational and project management skills supported by your proactive nature and acute ability to identify and solve problems and issues.
