About the Role

Within the growing Enterprise Solutions division this key sales role will be focused on NSW, ACT and QLD markets and channels, and on building successful existing and new relationships in these locations. As the Area Sales Manager - North at Sennheiser you will use your sales experience, expertise and initiative to assist the business with multiple activities, included but not limited to: 

  • Building and maintaining effective business relationships across designated accounts to increase sales revenue and market share
  • Making sure sales targets are met through direct and indirect accounts
  • Actively seeking new business opportunities and pursuing these opportunities in a timely and strategic manner
  • Producing detailed weekly and monthly sales reports for regional tracking
  • Attending and participating in brand promotional activities such as trade shows and in-store promotions
  • Implement clear orientation and launch plans for new dealers
  • Business travel as required within the territory and occasional international travel

About you

Success in this role will require you to have proven and demonstrable experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager within the consumer electronics, telecoms or IT field. Specific knowledge of headsets and conference speakerphones is ideal but not essential.

You will have an innate ability to source and identify new business opportunities, with skills within a B2B environment. You will be comfortable working autonomously and be able to make decisions, you enjoy providing presentations to internal staff, end users or clients in a workshop or one-on-one environment.

Naturally, experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools is essential. Prior experience across other software tools in use at Sennheiser include JD Edwards, would be advantageous, however, training will be provided.

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, sound reporting and data analysis ability, well-developed sales, and interpersonal capability. You will love the idea of working with a premium brand in the world of sound technology and be driven by delivering and exceeding results. Aligning with the Sennheiser culture and working from their new office in Chatswood will be required.
