The Sales Specialist position is a hybrid role responsible for inside sales, direct sales, sales support and administration of our North American Sales Team, covering defined territories and medical device sales into hospitals, medical offices and private clinics.

About the Role:

This is a new role and would see you joining an existing North American Sales Team of inside and field sales reps, working with the broader Canadian and US Team to increase sales, profit and market share, both from the perspective of product and geographical expansion.

Your role would be based in the Greater Toronto Area, working from home, responsible for inside sales and field sales including customer site visits, RFP response and pre/post trade show support and attendance.

About you:

You have high attention to details, collaborative, an effective communicator and a team-player. You're professional with an excellent phone manner and the ability to be strategic and persistent with follow-up but have the art of not being too overly single-minded.

Ability to manage competing priorities and prioritise support of multiple sales staff accounts requirements. Well-developed self-management with good structure, working with little to no supervision and meeting deadlines preparing and completing paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Professional phone manner with proven sales support or customer support experience essential
  • Professionally presented with good face-to-face presentation skills strongly desired
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience preparing sales quotes, proposals and documents
  • Timely and accurate administration of order paperwork and support requests
  • Willingness to attend and assist with setup and take down of tradeshow booths
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional work ethic
  • Ability to regularly move, lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Degree qualified
  • Salesforce CRM experience - desired
  • Canadian-French bilingual - beneficial
  • Medical device background - preferred
