About the Role

As Sales Account Manager at Sennheiser you will use your expertise and initiative to assist the business with multiple activities, ranging from increasing our revenue across designated accounts through targeted and planned sales programs, providing specialist advice and solutions for our customers, facilitating relevant product training, maintaining accurate records of market trends and constantly seeking new potential growth areas.  You will own the business for NSW and ACT, and act as the conduit between our customers and the broader Sennheiser business ensuring communication channels are effective and mutually beneficial.

Your focus will be the professional and IS Integrated Systems markets, Pro Audio, AV integration and commercial audio installation.  In this busy field-based role, your duties and accountabilities will be extensive and include:

  • Working with the Sales Director to execute the strategic sales plan for the NSW and ACT Pro Audio business.
  • Building and maintaining effective business relationships across target accounts to increase sales revenue and market share.
  • Actively seeking new business opportunities and pursuing these opportunities in a timely and strategic manner.
  • Producing detailed sales plans and reports as required.
  • Providing product training, demonstrations and assistance across accounts as required.
  • Attending and participating in brand promotional activities such as trade shows.
  • Working with the broader business to ensure customers are provided with the expected “premium” Sennheiser service.
  • Area travel as business requirements dictate.

About you

Success in this role will require you to have proven and demonstrably successful sales experience within the professional audio or related electronics field.   Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of professional/IS audio products and the target market will be required, including basic audio engineering skills.  Advanced technical skills in this area is a strong advantage.

Your experience in business to consumer and business to business sales and ability to identify and develop new, sustainable business opportunities will be key to long-term success.  You will have the ability to foster effective, mutually beneficial professional relationships and provide expertise and guidance to key accounts. This requires strong written and verbal communication skills, sound reporting and data analysis ability, outstanding presentation skills combined with well-developed sales, interpersonal and account management capability.  You will love the idea of working with a premium brand in the world of audio technology and be driven by delivering and exceeding results.

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools is essential.  Prior experience across other tools in use at Sennheiser (including CRM systems and business intelligence software) would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
