Several senior level opportunities have opened up across the organisation to further develop and deliver much needed social, community and commercial services across Australia.  

For the first time in its Australian history a national and unified Education department is being established, providing services across all sites in Melbourne and Sydney. In doing so the Education department  is seeking to further enhance its service delivery in Education and invest in a range of strategic programs to support the overall organisations objective.

About The Role

An engaging leader (with experience in the education sector) is required to lead the shared services function across its eastern suburbs Melbourne site and its south eastern suburbs site in Sydney.

Overseeing, finance, library facilities, administration, student services, marketing  and a learning management systems function, your role will be to ensure consistent delivery is achieved in this area.

With the recent merger of two colleges, the Support Services function has also merged to operate as one team. A strong focus of this role will be to further develop the Learning Management System – with a team of five assisting with this objective. In addition, your role will encompass:

  • Develop and lead all support services streams
  • Actively participate in the College Leadership Team ensuring key deliverables are achieved in line with strategic outcomes
  • Cement the shared services support services for each stream in the College – to ensure administration, finance, marketing, student services plus online learning and facilities management is coordinated
  • Drive and oversee the integration and implementation of a unified Learning Management System to support learning needs of the organisation, students and learners
  • Proactively build solid relationships across the College and wider organisation
  • Drive individual and team performance to achieve key deliverables

About You

  • Relevant qualifications (i.e. Education, Business Administration)
  • A well experienced leader – who has managed multi-disciplinary teams in the education sector
  • Proven experience in engaging  with and managing  the expectations of stakeholder groups at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team through to a long term outcome
