The Property department in this organisation is undergoing the most significant transformation and a number of career-defining opportunities are available.

About the role

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Establish, refine and implement a strategic asset management framework to provide policies and guidelines to improve asset investment planning and management across the national property portfolio
  • Create a long-term national Property Asset Management Plan to support customers
  • Coordinate and prepare business cases for all initiatives to sufficient standard to achieve internal approvals
  • Develop and lead the Strategic Property Business Partner operating model to provide effective support to deliver key outcomes across the organisation at both an operational and strategic level
  • Prepare and manage an annual strategic Asset Management finance budget tracking and reporting on performance against key financial outcomes
  • Prepare, review and coordinate the documentation and approval of business cases for new property initiatives, where relating to asset purchase or disposals, investments / developments, leasing or capital management / risk sharing structures
  • Manage the portfolio composition to ensure it best serves strategic directives and organisational needs
  • Develop effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure strategic and operational needs are managed in line with key deliverables

About You

To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified in property or business.  You will have proven experience in managing and leading a property portfolio, as well as developing and implementing property strategies. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills as well as experience in leading and managing capital works projects.

You have successfully undertaken and documented residential market supply, demand and competitor analysis, including conclusions and recommendations to inform the development brief and commercial analysis. You are highly skilled in use of MS Project and Excel to produce detailed financial assessments, forecasts and development / construction programs.
