Executive Manager Continuous Improvement

 About the role

The Executive Manager Continuous Improvement will be responsible for developing and embedding continuous improvement practices and methodologies across the organisation. Working in the Professional Standards and Quality Department this is a unique opportunity to be influential in making a positive difference to a large organisation.

 Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and lead the continuous improvement framework across the organisation
  • Develop and implement an incident and complaints management system
  • Establish, implement and lead a quality reporting framework
  • Provide quality governance and management reports of trends and performance
  • Identify any high-risk areas for improvement, including managing any external investigations or reviews
  • Develop a system to capture, measure and report performance against KPI’s and external industry benchmarks
  • Stakeholder engagement, advocating commitment for quality and improvement, along with advising leaders on continuous improvement methodologies
  • Establishing and leading a team


 About You

 To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in developing, implementing and leading continuous improvement frameworks ideally in a large, complex organisation. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills as well as experience in leading a team. Previous experience designing processes, including process mapping and management are essential and you should feel comfortable leading facilitated sessions on continuous improvement. You will be highly organised, relationship focussed; building strong professional relationships with all levels of staff and committed to the values of our organisation. Tertiary qualifications in a related field would be ideal and a Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent would be highly desirable.
