About the Role 

We are currently going through a period of significant local business growth and to support our success into the future we have three new opportunities for transactional Finance Generalists/Officers to join our accounting and operations finance team in our brand new CBD offices (George Street). The team covers all operational finance areas including chargebacks, credit card and invoice account receivables, bank and BSP reconciliations, write offs, accounts payable and expense management.

Reporting to the Operations Finance Manager, team duties include:

  • Efficient, timely and accurate posting of transactional data and completion of operational financial activities across the following areas:
  1. Accounts payable (incl chargebacks and reconciliations)
  2. Accounts receivable including daily receipting
  3. Expense management - system administration and processing of expense claims, ensuring compliance
  4. Bank reconciliations and cash forecasts in collaboration with the Financial Accountant
  5. Supporting BSP reconciliation including refund processing and rebate calculations
  • Assisting with month end processes.
  • Efficient and effective handling of internal and external customer requests, issues or disputes, providing a high level of customer service. 
  • Focusing on continuous improvement of processes. 
  • Complying with all relevant policies and obligations.
  • Collaborating with the finance team and other key stakeholders on projects as needed. 

About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in a similar operational finance role, with a focus on exceptional internal and external customer service. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver high quality outputs with attention to detail and within deadlines. You will have previous experience in a fast paced, high volume environment and the ability to be proactive and autonomous in your role. A relevant Finance, Accounting or Business qualification, experience in high volume credit card receipting and reconciliations or previous experience in the travel management sector would be highly regarded.
You will be proficient in MS Excel and have experience with ERP/financial systems such as Agresso, SAP and Concur.
