As part of our growth, we now have an opportunity for a Capital Works Manager to join our team in Melbourne.

About the opportunity

Supporting the the Senior Capital Works Managers you will play a key role in assisting planning and delivery of non-Development capital works associated with lifecycle programs, Leases, building technologies, strategic asset plans and special projects. 

To do this you will:

  • Support the Senior Capital Works Managers in the budgeting and forecasting process in coordination with the Capital Works & Technical Services team, PMCs, and Asset Managers across a portfolio of assets.
  • Support the Senior Capital Works Managers in the scoping, design, management, coordination and implementation of capital works projects across a portfolio of assets including engagement and management of external consultants and contractors!
  •  Manage the preparation and approval of capital works project business cases including coordination and liaison with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage delivery of projects from project initiation to commissioning and defect completions
  •  Ensure compliance with all ISPT regulatory and corporate policy requirements (e.g. WHS, Risk, Procurement and Sustainability standards)

About you

To be successful, you have experience in Property and construction, ideally working in technical, engineering, fit out or refurbishment projects. You have exposure to project management and comfortable working with senior stakeholders. You may also have experience in working in capital works for a similar property company/REIT or a larger complex organisation. 

You have demonstrated experience in analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and are comfortable working autonomously.
