Our client is a large APAC retail / consumer industries organisation, an ASX 200 company, who is going through a huge amount of growth and transformation as they set themselves up for their future state. One of their key objectives is setting up their P&C business unit and with that comes an exciting new Senior Performance & Reward role

They have more than 5000 employees and are growing, with multiple well-known brands under the one umbrella, customer centric in everything that they do and this role will be focussed on building out the Performance & Reward function with the GM.

About the Role

This role will be accountable for providing specialist advice and support across remuneration, performance, benefits, people insights and analytics in a fast paced / build environment

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the design and implementation of foundational frameworks, policies, and procedures to support performance management, remuneration, and rewards.
  • Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to identify industry best practices, benchmarks and trends in remuneration and support the development and rollout of training programs and communication initiatives to ensure effective adoption and utilisation of performance and remuneration frameworks. 
  • Managing the delivery of the annual remuneration review process; provide relevant remuneration and market pay analyses; contribute to the drafting of communications; coordinate the annual build and data management of the remuneration review tool (ELMO) to ensure sound management decision making is undertaken. 
  • Supporting the design and managing the delivery of employee incentive programs; provide relevant financial and operational analyses and insights; draft elements of the technical design and communication of the program.
  • Undertaking the delivery of job evaluations, career path reports and mapping of success profiles to ensure alignment within the remuneration framework.
  • Managing the annual offering and ongoing maintenance of the employee share plan, liaising with Finance and Legal teams, to ensure accuracy in record keeping.

 About you    

Key to your success is demonstrable experience in a performance and reward role where you have been a part of a green field site or you are looking to be a part of a build opportunity. With a track record of working in a complex ASX listed environment your expertise in all aspects of reward (job evaluations, remuneration, benefits, advanced analytics and reporting, short term incentives, sales plans (favourable), business partnering, policies and procedures) will be essential.

You have a hand-on style, with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence and negotiate across all levels internally and externally to get things done. You have excellent attention to detail, are commercially savvy, able to build relationships across the business with a problem solving and analytical mentality, comfortable in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.
